Panama City Community Revitalization :
Four districts within the City limits have become a focal point for economic development and revitalization. These areas are part of the historic sections of the city and therefore have a significant amount of history and charm. The City Commission has designated these districts to be incorporated as independent Community Redevelopment Agencies (CRAs). Currently, the Community Redevelopment Agency Board is the governing body for the four CRAs. Each CRA has a committee that works within that area. The city welcomes and encourages development and redevelopment in these areas.
Design guidelines for three CRAs are listed under the publications. The Millville CRA design guidelines are still in the developmental phase. Please call 785-2554 for more information.
The four Panama City CRA’s are as follows:
- Downtown Improvement Area CRA
- Downtown North CRA (Includes Glenwood Community)
- St. Andrew CRA
- Millville CRA
